Patient Management

Patient Profiles &
Registration

Maintain a complete, searchable patient database — linked to their case records and appointments.

Registering a New Patient

1

Tap the Search / Patient icon

From the main screen tap the magnifying glass or patient icon to open the patient search and registration screen.

2

Search first to avoid duplicates

Type the patient's name or phone number. If they appear in the results, select them — no need to create a new record. Only tap "Register New Patient" if they genuinely don't exist yet.

3

Fill in the patient details

  1. Full Name (required)
  2. Mobile Number (required) — used for WhatsApp follow-ups if configured
  3. Date of Birth — used to compute age automatically
  4. Gender

  6. Patient ID — auto-generated using your configured prefix (e.g. CS-2026-0042), or you can enter a custom ID if manual mode is enabled

Tap "Register Patient"

The patient is created in the CaseIndex database and a patient record folder is created in your Google Drive automatically.
