What Is the Public Booking Page?

CaseIndex gives every clinic a unique, publicly accessible booking URL. Anyone with the link can open it in a browser — no app required — and book an appointment directly into your calendar.

Your booking URL follows this pattern:

https://book.caseindex.in/cp/your-business-id

Finding & Sharing Your Booking Link

Open App → Settings → General Tab

Scroll to the "Public Booking Link" section. Your unique URL is displayed there.

Copy or Share the link

Use the Copy button to copy it to clipboard, or tap Share to send it via WhatsApp, email, SMS, or social media. You can add it to:

  1. Your Google Business Profile ("Book an appointment" button)
  2. Instagram/Facebook bio link
  3. WhatsApp Business profile description
  4. Email signature
  5. Patient discharge summary or prescription footer

What the Patient Sees

The public booking flow guides patients through a simple 4-step process:

Select Doctor & Clinic

If your practice has multiple doctors or clinic locations, the patient picks which one they want to see. Single-doctor clinics skip this step automatically.

Pick a Date & Time Slot

An interactive calendar shows available dates. Selecting a date reveals all time slots for that day. Slots that are already booked are visibly greyed out and cannot be selected — preventing accidental double-bookings.

Real-time slot availability

The available slots are fetched live from the CaseIndex API at the time the patient opens the page. If a slot is booked 10 seconds ago by someone else, it will show as taken.

Fill in Personal Details

The patient enters their name, phone number, email, and any notes. A reCAPTCHA verification prevents bot spam.

Booking Confirmed

A confirmation screen shows all the details. The appointment is simultaneously added to your Google Calendar. If you have push notifications set up, you'll get an instant alert.
